You must have been living under a rock or hibernating or something if you haven’t noticed herds of animalistic heads running around inciting mixed emotions of disgust and pity.Its been almost five years now that I have been observing more and more people roaming around with disastrous hair colouring jobs,so much so I want to chase them down and hide their heads with gunny bags or obscenely large hats etc.
There are few things that are so bad that warrant attention on emergency basis,and I think its time to put our foot down and raise a voice against this atrocity of hair colour abuse.Now some of you might disagree with me but I must make it clear that I am referring to permanently and radically transforming natural hair colour not anything else.
Well the fairytale started when people were looking for ways to cover up their gray hair but some crazy scientist had this crazy idea decades back to develop a whole rainbow of hues from yellows to greens and blues.Our Pakistani society picked up hair products in 80s and became more adventurous by the end of decade.But I am totally clueless regarding how this black to blonde thingy crept up.I see scores and scores of women going to these ‘beauty parlours’ and lightening their otherwise beautiful dark coloured hair into horrendous lighter shades of blonde and sand.
It looks as if these people both men and women have been tortured or their hairstylist has taken some sort of revenge by doing this to them.The hair texture is goes suddenly like corn hair and in some cases like floor mop.some of these hair colouring disasters are absurdly elaborate ranging from straight lines of lighter hair colour ‘streaks’ to sprouts of pointy lighter coloured strands.So it is one of the ten commandments that your hair should not under any circumstances resemble a floor mop ,coat of an animal , a clown wig or rap star like Nicki Minaj which are all one and the same thing.Even the gays have moved on to abusing hair product from hair colouring,so Ladies and Gentlemen please spare yourselves from ridicule.No matter what problem you have with your natural hair colour, more often than not its the best one for you.All one needs to do is to have better hair cut and hairstyling revamp.
Before opting for any hair colouring job take my advice: snap a photo of yourself and manipulate the hair colour on your computer to see how it would look.Then lastly visit a great (notice great not just good) hair salon to do the job.Trust me its all worth it, the professionals know better how it would turn out;they do it for a living and have your best interests in their mind,unlike you who is probably just plain bored/star struck.It is strictly not a ‘do-it-yourself’ kinda task,you wont get the desired results ever.Its like comparing masturbation to actual sex.
Lastly always remember the society you dwell in ,the workplace and your personality should match the hair colour you go for and the overall look you have in mind,you shouldn’t be having stripper hair if you are banker with conservative Islamist family .Your skin tone and eye colour also plays a pivotal role,there are lot of tutorials online to find the perfect shade for your type DO THAT.Because initial labour is better than remorse and eventual ridicule.
